 This 47 3/4" x 83" rug developed a mind of it's own during the design process. It is nothing like my original idea. Some of the design elements are from "celtic charted designs" by Co Spinhoven, and the rest, and the overall design, are original. It is woven from handspun Churro and Mt. d Oro wool, dyed with Cochineal, Brazilwood, Kota and Red wood, and Indigo blended with natural brown sheep wool. Celtic Stone
This 43 1/2" x 67 1/2" rug in the Celtic tradition was inspired by ancient Celtic stone carvings. It is woven from hand spun dark brown Churro and variegated red Karakul fleeces. Trixie's Tricky Triangles This 47 1/4" x 58 1/2" rug is an abstract design that is an elaboration on a doodle produced while talking on the phone. It is woven from hand spun natural dark brown and dyed Mt. d' Oro wools. The dyes are Cochineal, Brazilwood and Chamisa. Trixie's fleece is combined with another brown for the dark color.
